Sean D. Ruttkay and EDAsurf.com have taken the principals of the 1960’s avant-garde Op Art movment and applied them to braking waves. This discordant figure-ground relationship will causes the two planes to be in a tense and contradictory juxtaposition leaving the viewer perplexed and then mesmerized by the natural subject matter. Unlike my realistic interpretations of natural elements, this work is intended to expand minds, stimulate heart rates, and entice conversation.
